CRFA Show Garners Record Attendance

Earlier this month, Synergy Merchant Services made their fourth consecutive visit to the CRFA Show at the Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto. The incredible hospitality event, which takes place every year, showcases the greatest in restaurants, food suppliers and other industries who are members of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association.

If you’ve been reading our blogs from earlier this month, then you are well aware about how beneficial it is to be part of this amazing experience. We met so many business owners from all over the country that we cannot even begin to explain how excited we are about the many new business relationships we have created.

In addition to the free food and awesome presentations and demonstrations, the CRFA Show is designed for business owners to network with each other. The three day event has become a staple for anyone in the restaurant and food industry each and every year. If you are yet to visit the CRFA Show, you are certainly missing out on a incomparable opportunity.

This year’s CRFA Show, in fact, was bigger than ever. In a recent newsletter, the CRFA confirmed that the 2011 event attracted more than 13,000 visitors…the largest number yet. Also boasting 1,200 exhibitor booths, 31 educational seminars and workshops and 38 chef demos, this year’s show was truly one to behold.

Said Garth Whyte, CRFA’s President and CEO: “Our thanks go out to everyone in this innovative and dynamic industry whose participation made the CRFA Show such a tremendous success. The feedback from visitors and exhibitors has been outstanding, and the wheels are in motion to build on the success to make next year’s show even better.”

CRFA also reports that, this year, they invited a number of politicians to the show. Including Ontario Minister of Labour, Hon. Charles Sousa and Federal Minister of State for Small Business and Tourism, Hon. Rob Moore, these esteemed individuals were amazed by the sights, sounds and smells presented by the show.

Obviously, the CRFA Show keeps getting bigger and better. Be sure not to miss out next year! Circle these dates on your calendar: March 4th to 6th, 2012, the CRFA Show will be back at the Direct Energy Centre. Needless to say, we can hardly wait!
